This dark coloured drink has plenty of deep flavours. Caramel, allspice, walnut, vanilla, smoky oak and even hints of oloroso 'sherry'. There's a sweetness and softness here, but it's not ponderous and heavy in the mouth. A complex drink – but one that carries its complexity lightly. Slightly more bitter than sweet, it's nonetheless a smooth sipper with a gentle mouthfeel and a long finish. Ideal for mixology, a versatile base for crafting original and sophisticated creations.
