Yellow fruit meets animating freshness and elegant minerality in this Riesling matured on the fine lees. The 2023 vintage, characterized by a rainy autumn, posed a number of challenges that our winemakers mastered perfectly and curated a particularly exciting aroma profile thanks to their many years of expertise: Instead of the usual exotic fruit notes, the 2023 Riesling impresses with a clear fruit aroma dominated by golden yellow local fruit. The acidity characteristic of Riesling is particularly spicy in this vintage and requires a great deal of finesse during dealcoholization. But it is precisely this spicy acidity, well balanced, that gives the wine a special tension and ensures an excellent drinking flow. The 2023 Riesling – an absolutely successful example of how an exceptionally exquisite wine can be created from difficult conditions.
